Bubble tea, made
by a robot arm.

A robot arm brews the tea, chills the milk, cooks the pearls and film-seals your cup in about ninety seconds — around the clock, with nobody behind the counter.

One email when it opens — the date, the address and a code for a free signature drink. Nothing else, ever.

Already trading

Not a concept company. The first robot is already pouring.

STARBOT Vol. I — the coffee unit — has been trading at City St George’s, University of London: a robot arm serving around 150 cups a day from £2.00, with nobody behind the counter. Vol. II runs on the same chassis, the same arm, the same app and the same refill route. Different recipe, proven machine.

Questions

Everything people ask us.

The first three are for anyone who just wants a drink. The rest are the questions venues ask on the partnerships call.

When and where can I actually buy one?

The first Bubble Tea units open in London in Q1 2027. Sites are being confirmed with venue partners now, so we cannot name the address yet — the waitlist email carries it, along with the opening date, before it goes anywhere else.

What does joining the waitlist actually get me?

One email. It gives you the opening date, the address, and a code for a free signature drink on opening day. No newsletter, no drip sequence, no passing your address to anyone else.

How much will a drink cost?

We haven't set it. Drink pricing is agreed with each venue when the first units go in, and everybody on the waitlist hears it before opening day rather than at the screen.

What's the install footprint?

2.55 m² for the unit plus a metre in front for the queue. It is 1700 × 1500 × 2000 mm, crates under 800 kg and comes in on a pallet jack — no rigging, no shopfitting.

What power does it need?

Single-phase 110 / 220–240 V AC, 5 kW at peak. Ice is made on board — 100 kg a day — so there is no external feed and no plumbing.

How long is install?

Half a day from arrival on site, including the telemetry handshake and a test pour.

Who fills and services it?

We do — a single-operator route at roughly one refill a day. The unit reports its own tank levels over 4G/5G, so it is restocked before anything runs out.

What's the revenue model?

Revenue share or a fixed monthly lease — modelled against your footfall, not an average. The venue provides the space and power; we do everything else.

Lead time on a unit?

Six to eight weeks from signed order to install. Bubble Tea opens Q1 2027; early enquiries get priority slots.

What about allergens — dairy, soy, gluten?

The milk line-up is configurable per site, dairy and non-dairy, and every drink is labelled on screen with full allergen information before payment. Tanks are sealed, which keeps cross-contact materially lower than an open counter.
